Lesle Lewis

Where is Henry?

I’m in Tulip and Bird City, Ohio.

I’m sorry I’m too busy with my shoveling to talk to you.

I just want to tell you I use every bit of what I have and it depends on who loves who and who wants what and what it is.

I’m in Dingle.

I’ve paused the machine.

I’m in Ireland.

Everything is its own special self.

Where is Henry?

He isn’t here yet.

We have to go get him.

Lesle Lewis is the author of four collections of poetry, including A Boot’s a Boot (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2014) and the chapbook It's Rothko in Winter or Belgium (Factory Hollow Press, 2012). She lives in New Hampshire and teaches at Landmark College in Vermont.
