Rebecca Ferlotti

medic

spatchcocked,

i splay on the table

in vein

in muscle        burst-capillary-

inkblots        on screen

syringe                overflowing

tissue                blood-soaked:

plum                filling.

gown open,

i stretch elastic past my knee

and it buckles wide——

cobranic        mosquito-swole.
